Embark on a pottery journey with our subscription-based courses, where you can immerse yourself in wheel throwing or handbuilding techniques—or both, seamlessly alternating between the two. If you are a beginner, our step-by-step plan ensures you grasp the essential techniques and rules for independent clay crafting.

Subscription

Enjoy up to 5 lessons per month at €145 per month. Flexible booking: you can book a time slot online, you may, but are not obliged to, choose the same day and time, you are completely flexible in this. Minimum six months, can be canceled monthly with 1 month's notice. Registration: €25 one-time and you will receive tools, storage bucket and your own shelf.

We charge €12 per pack of clay of 10 kilos. For 5 kilos of clay we charge €7.50 and that includes the biscuit firing (first firing). We charge a fee for glazing and final firing (second firing), taking into account the size of the workpiece. We have a transparent measuring box for this. As an example, a coffee cup or small bowl charges €0.90.

The class lasts two and a half hours, and that includes cleaning your tools and workstation.

Electric turntable

In this course you will learn the techniques needed to be able to throw independently on the potter's wheel. Think of preparing clay, centering the clay on the wheel, and modeling it to your desired shape. You will learn to throw cylinders, bowls, plates and convex shapes; you learn to re-center a leather-hard object on the wheel and trim it; you will learn decorating methods and glazing.

In the same course, it is also possible to learn the techniques required to work independently with different types of clay, rolling out the clay into proportional slabs, loaming the clay, cutting sloping connecting edges. You learn to make sludge that serves as a glue and to attach the pieces of clay to each other, you learn to make different shapes, sometimes using molds, cutters, etc. You learn decorating methods and glazing of the objects.

Trial lesson

You will learn the basics and can get an idea of ​​what exactly is to work with clay and how fun it is to follow lessons at our atelier.

Trial lesson is 2.5 hours for €55 including materials.

During the trial lessons you get an idea of ​​what the lessons are like, therefore any results will not be retained, unless you decide to continue and register for the course. After registering you will receive a shelf with your name, on which you can store your work, tools, and materials. And if you decide to register after the trial lesson, you will get the money for the trial lesson back!
